CISF: Pat Cahill & Sam Simmons

Pat Cahill is a comedian and musical talent who won Best Newcomer at the Chortle Comedy Awards in 2012. He followed this with two shows for BBC Radio: Doggy Dilemma and Chick ‘n’ Mix and Still Reeling (a Channel 4 Blap). Television credits include Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular, One Night Stand (Dave) and Chris Moyle’s Comedy Empire, the latter culminating in the infamous Bun Dance with Radio 1’s Greg James. Pat has also supported both Ardal O’Hanlon and Nina Conti on their UK tours.

Multi-award winning comedian, Sam Simmons is one of the most daring and unconventional comics out there. Completely original and vastly absurd, he has one foot firmly planted into the soils of reality, and the other rooted deep into the psyche of being silly. He is a writer, radio and television host and hugely critically acclaimed live act. He has written and starred in his own series of Channel 4 BLAPS and is the creator and star of Problems (ABC (Australia), which also aired on Dave in the UK. In the US he has appeared on Conan. Sam is the only comic to have won the top comedy awards here and in Australia for his 2015 show Spaghetti for Breakfast.
