A native New Yorker, Andrew Schulz is known as one of the faces of MTV Networks. After breaking out on the hit MTV2 show Guy Code, he hosted mtvU’s Spring Break 2014 and was a part of MTV’s New Year’s Eve special from 2013 to 2015. Andrew is also wellknown for his extremely popular podcast “Brilliant Idiots,” co-hosted by fellow MTV personality Charlamagne, which racks up more than 200,000 listeners per episode on Soundcloud and iTunes. As an actor, Andrew can next be seen as a series regular on IFC’s half-hour comedy series Benders. He appeared in the 2015 independent feature VICTOR and had a recurring role in the FX pilot Bronx Warrants.
With his unique brand of humor, Schulz has established himself as a fixture in the New York comedy circuit. He regularly performs at The Comedy Cellar, Stand Up NY, The Comic Strip Live, Eastville Comedy Club and Caroline’s on Broadway
Kate Berlant is an actor, stand-up, and writer who was recently profiled by The New York Times as a “magnetic improvisational comic” at the forefront of experimental comedy. Kate is one of Variety’s “Ten Comics To Watch for 2015″ and was previously named a New Face at the 2014 Montreal Comedy Festival. TimeOut LA listed her as one of the nine comedians to watch in 2015 and she was one of Comedy Central’s Top Ten Comics to Watch in 2013. She frequently tours the country, performing in festivals such as Sasquatch, Festival Supreme, Treasure Island Music Festival the New York Comedy Festival. She co-created the video Satellite Space for MOCAtv and was a featured performer on IFC’s “Comedy Drop.” She recently wrapped a pilot for Comedy Central and for TruTV and can be seen on season two of Comedy Central’s The Meltdown. She has been featured in Rookie, Esquire and Los Angeles Magazine. Kate frequently collaborates with John Early. She has a monthly show at the UCB Franklin called “Communikate” and stars in her own Netflix comedy special.
